SANITY OR MADNESS?
TRUTH OR HAPPINESS?
LOVE OR SURVIVAL?
IN THE NANO, YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE
Noah and Sadie are now trained twitchers, They know how to wire a person’s brain from the inside, and how to get out alive. But they’re still reeling from their first encounter withe the Armstrong twins, and there’s no time for grief. As long as Bug Man has control of the US President’s mind, the future is on a knife edge.
THE FIGHT TO STAY SANE WILL DRIVE YOU BERSERK
Welcome to the world of the nano, with your sanity resting on the line and the other option being death why would you ever want to be dragged into this world? In the second chapter of BZRK a few characters find themselves asking the same question, and even fewer, such as Sadie McLure also known as Plath in this new life finds herself wanting out, will she escape or stay?
Her relationship with Keats a.k.a Noah is more than what she want’s it to be, can they love but not be in love? With their leader, Vincent, in a world of madness after having ones of his biots killed by none other than Bug Man, Nijinsky is forced to take the plate, but could he ever really be the right man, not wanting what was given but longing for what was taken Nijinsky struggles with trying to do what Vincent would in the situation.
Down in the meat, with the US President’s mind being controlled, one of the world most powerful minds is in the hands of another, the enemy. With more elements coming into the story at this point, than the last book, you can feel a heightened sense of tension. Vincent has come back, slightly, aware at m-sub level, with Plath deep wiring his brain previously and burning some memories will he ever come back fully, only time will tell.
The twins, Charles and Benjamin Armstrong are kidnapping, wiring, and basically controlling people upon a LNG that they call the Doll Ship, but with their twitcher of ‘sick’ one girl was left with her own mind, Minako, having OCD she uses numbers a direction for whether something is good or bad, and is a new part in the story of BZRK.
With Bug Man neutralizing himself in the end neither sides have control of the President’s mind, what are they fighting for now? Everything being controlled from a higher authority, the mysterious Lear, finally Sadie has decided where she belongs and now she must find him.
This really is sci-fi like never before, with the ghastly descriptions of ‘down in the meat’ Grant gives it all a heightened sense of reality, if the technology were ever truly made possible he’s outdone himself with his advancements. Eagerly awaiting to see if there will be another book on BZRK.
